Gijs van Wulfen (1960) studied business economics. He started to work as a marketeer in the fast moving consumer goods sector (at Honig soups and Red Band Venco candy). After 7 years he switched to marketing consulting at Ernst & Young Consulting and Boer & Croon Strategy & Management Group. He advised many organisations on their marketing and innovation strategy At the end of 2002 he started his own innovation company Big Tree Marketing Innovators. His mission is to to speed up effective innovation at the companies and organisations het works for. In 2006 Gijs wrote the practical innovation book Creating New Products in whoch he presents the FORTH innovation method: an effective way to ideate new products and services.
| After implementing this new method in the Netherlands for several years he wrote the second edition of his book with all the latest innovation best practices. Gijs helps organisations with a jump start with innovation by facilitating the FORTH innovation method and advising companies on their innovation strategy, process and organisation. His clients are both companies in industry and services and non profit organisations like govern,ent and health organisations. Gijs is a both presenter and chairman of several (international) innovation conferences. like the ISPIM Conference in Vienna may 2009 and the European Conference on Creativity and Innovation in Brussels october 2009. He is also founder of the Dutch Innovation Conference on creating new products: 'Nieuwe Producten Bedenken'. The 2010 episode of this conference will be held on September 16th 2010. |
