New concepts to strenghten people in their work

FNV Formaat is the Dutch market leader in education, training, courses and advice for work councils. To be able to continue this position in the future it is essential for us to stay closely connected to the corresponding markets  with up to date products and services.

The assignment is to develop new services / products workers, union members, union officers, works council members and HRM managers. These (re) new (ed) products / services should have a yearly sales potential of € 500,000 three years after launch with a margin of at least 20% of sales. The goal is to draft four mini new business cases for new products in 2010 and to develop and introduce them quickly on the market.

The FORTH innovation project has created tremendous energy and motivation within FNV Formaat. Not only because whole revolutionary ideas were constituted but also because it gave us real customer insights. WE looled from outside in instead of from the inside out. As we used to do. Moreover, we have learned a lot to bring more depth in developing our ideas. That makes those ideas having a far better chance of succeeding. And that motivates and energizes. The pace was high: we experienced a pressure cooker feeling. As a result there are four well-developed mini new business cases who all have the potential to be introduced into the market. Besides that, the  FORTH innovation project had a very positive effect on our  internal culture! We became more innovative.
