FORTH innovation project in healthcare sector

Dutch healthcare organisation InteraktContour specializes in helping people with brain injuries, incurred by an accident or a stroke. Also people with physical and / or sensory disability are being served. With 1.200 employees Interakt Contour offers high quality level care to the people close to home. Interakt Contour is active in the Netherlands in the provinces of Utrecht, Flevoland, Gelderland and Overijssel and provides counseling, daytime activities and 24-hour care.
InteraktContour focuses on activities that are funded through the AWBZ, and wants to target new customer groups. These client groups should be related to the client groups Interakt Contour already knows well. The innovation challenge is to develop (new) forms of care which fullfils needs of client groups which are insufficiently being taken care of thusfar.
This innovation challenge in the care is addressed by the FORTH innovation method. And starting on February 12, 2010. The challenge is to develop four new products. Gijs van Wulfen facilitates the methodology and innovation manager Berber Wesseling is the internal project leader. The sponsor for this innovative project is Jan van Kampen, chairman Board of Directors.
With an ideation team of thirteen people it again promises to be an exciting and innovative journey.
